Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the only child from Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she turned 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra has been associated with numerous important projects both locally as well as internationally. Among others, these projects comprise British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She also remained member of the jury for the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
